About Me
I’m Yael, I am an osteopath with a passion for education and teaching people about their bodies.
My first steps towards this work began in 2010 when I completed my BSc Biomedical Science in NUI Galway. After further study in Melbourne, Australia, I worked as a remedial & sports injury therapist for several years. Upon returning to Ireland in 2016, I opened my own sports therapy clinic here in Dublin. Soon after, I enrolled in a degree in Osteopathy, delivered by the Irish College of Osteopathic Medicine and London South Bank University. Five and a half years later, with over 1000 hours of supervised clinical practice completed, I received my degree with first class honours.
I’m a registered member of the Osteopathic Council of Ireland and my treatments are covered by all major Irish health insurance providers.
How I Help My Clients
My strong academic background means my treatment approaches are always guided by best clinical practice. I use a blend of evidence-based science (what the research says works well) and clinical experience (what has worked well in my own years of clinical practice). My patients are at the centre of this approach and my treatments are designed to meet your needs and health goals.
I’ve trained in a wide range of osteopathic and physiotherapy techniques which enables me to accommodate the individual needs of my patients.
