My Services
Craniosacral therapy is a body-centered approach which aids in the regulation of physical stress responses.
These days, emotional & mental stresses can be commonplace in our lives, while physical stress can occur from a prolonged illness or even a car accident. But when stress becomes constant, chronic or simply overwhelming it can manifest as pain or dysfunction in our bodies.
Craniosacral therapy can help with the regulation of these stress responses so you can cope better and heal fully.
Craniosacral therapy has profound effects on the central nervous system. In particular, it can result in the promotion of the polyvagal or parasympathetic (rest and digest) responses and the calming of sympathetic (fight, flight, freeze) responses in the body.
Craniosacral therapy doesn’t eliminate or fix the stressful issues, instead it promotes the body's natural healing process so you can better cope with them.
When our internal systems coordinate and function appropriately, the body is in a better position to recover and heal.
In my years of clinical experience I’ve used craniosacral therapy to help patients manage:
Acute & chronic stress
Long covid issues
Chronic pains
Headaches & migraines
PTSD
Depression & anxiety
Insomnia & chronic fatigue
Digestive issues
If you’re unsure whether I can help you with a certain condition, please contact me and I’d be happy to advise you.

Generally yes. I’m a registered member of The Osteopathic Council of Ireland. Treatments are usually covered by VHI, Laya, Irish Life and all other major private health insurance providers. Check with your provider and policy to see how much they will reimburse and the amount of visits they may cover prior to your treatment.

Your initial appointment will begin with a series of questions about why you have come in to see me and an overview of your medical history. This information helps me to begin to create a picture of what could be going on in your body. We’ll discuss any specific health goals that you may wish to achieve from your treatments with me. Following this, we can begin the treatment.

Craniosacral therapy is exceptionally restful. During the treatment, I use a light-touch technique to gently manipulate the soft tissues of the body and face in order to release tension. I apply this technique from the top of the skull (cranium) to the bottom of the spine (sacrum).
The treatment is performed fully clothed, although I generally expose the abdomen when treating patients with digestive issues. -
Please bring any referral letters you think might be relevant for me to consider from your consultant, G.P., physiotherapist or any other healthcare professional you’ve been attending.

Please do not bring imaging CDs.
